25-08-2018:

• Fixed some small bugs in the pre-styled headers and in the transitions property.

26-08-2018:

• We have added a code snippet in the exported themes to correct the fixed headers z-index. It will automatically apply a higher z-index to the position:fixed elements that have z-index set to auto (or not set). This prevents the main elements overlapping the fixed elements. The non technical explanation is that now you can use fixed headers 🙂

• Added step by step modals to explain how some parts of TG work.

10-09-2018:

• Added a preview link in all the default themes
• Now you can delete footer and header separators
• Added a new free block to support scroll animations. You can see more details about the Scroll animation container block in the documentation.
• Added a new free theme: Corporate with scroll animations.
• New theme style supported: mobile menu background.
• Social icon blocks do not share the same class by default anymore.

17-09-2018:

• Duplicate background problem in the free theme “Corporate” fixed. Change or remove the buildings background in Decorations -> Background over the main #wrapper
• “Edit Homepage” option added in the WordPress admin menu bar. Use the link to directly open your design in Themes Generator and edit any content. Export and install the theme again to see the changes.
  

29-09-2018:

• “Edit Homepage” crawler updated, trying to avoid some hosting providers bot protection.

20-11-2018:

• Customizer options: with this new feature, now you can change text & pictures from your themes directly in WordPress by pressing “Customize” in the admin menu.
• Added new tooltips.
• Themesgenerator.com website redesigned, new login and register panels.

11-12-2018:

• New premium theme added to the collection: Museum.
• New theme preview added: Museum demo.
• Some small bugs fixed.

22-12-2018:

• New free block added to the collection: Slideshow. Now you can easily add a slideshow block into your theme designs. After installing your theme, just use the Customize option to change your slideshow content.

07-01-2019:

• Themes Generator is finally fully compatible with Woocommerce. Just install the Woocommerce plugin and use the theme Customizer menu to set up the shop styles.

11-01-2019:

• Little bug where your footer widgets were appearing in a wrong position fixed.

15-01-2019:

• Added a new premium theme: Winter.
• Added a new premium theme: Yoga.

21-01-2019:

• Page content block updated.
  • Now you can use as many page content blocks as you want.
  • Easier to use: just drop the block in Themes Generator and config everything after installing in WordPress (using customizer menu).
  • Output content: added padding controls and paragraph default margin.
• Site layout customizer options updated.
  • We have added advanced options to customize the footer widgets that you set via customizer.
  • New settings: Footer widgets area max width (px), Footer widgets horizontal padding (px), Footer widgets vertical padding (px), Full width footer widgets (yes/no) & Footer widgets background.
• Navbar block updated.
  • We have blocked the child elements edition in the navbar block. This will make easier to understand how this block works.

• We have removed the multiple background layers due to Safari and MS Edge lack of compatibility. Please, use only one background layer.

26-02-2019:

• New Menu Navbar block launched.
  • Menu Navbar is a new block that will replace all the old navbar blocks. It is easier to use since you will totally control the menu design using WordPress customizer.
  • Customizer –Menu Styles– updated: now you can control every style of the menu bar. The current menu settings are: Text color, Text background color, Submenu text color, Submenu text background color, Text color hover, Text background color hover, Navbar background color, Mobile menu background color, Mobile menu icon color, Mobile separator color, Letter spacing (px), Item side padding (px), Navbar top margin (px), Font size (px), Text shadow, Font family, Font weight & Navbar align
  • All the themes updated: we have updated all the themes collection to use the new Menu Navbar block.
• Menu management improved.
  • Setting up the main menu of your theme is easier now: choose the main menu in WordPress using Customize > Menus > Locations and assign a menu to the Top Menu location.
• Bug fix.
  • We have fixed some previous navbar version bugs.
  • We have removed the multiple background layers due to some browsers lack of compatibility. Now you can only use one background layer.
  • Focus moved when dragging and dropping a new block, fixed (v2).

06-03-2019:

• New Latest Posts block launched.
  • Latest Posts is a new block that will allow you to show the latest posts from any category.
  • Customizer –Menu Styles– updated: control every style of the latest posts block. The current menu settings are: Category to show, Top & bottom padding (px), Left & right padding (px), Description margin (px), Post count, Thumbnail width (px), Thumbnail height (px), Title size (px), Description size (px), Post title, Post description & Font family.
• New theme launched: Beauty Salon.
  • New premium theme available. An elegant theme with pink and white colors that is great for beauty niche sites.
• Site layout in customizer renamed to Main Options.
  • Post excerpt length (words) setting added under Site Layout group in WordPress customizer. Now you can control how many words will be shown when using the post excerpt (latest posts or post archive).
• Small updates.
  • Menu Navbar block updated showing partial opacity in the workspace. Now you can see the div below the menu block when using negative margins in mobile.
  • Several block tutorial tips updated.

11-03-2019:

• New Header & Background block launched.
  • Header & Background is a new block that will solve the previous problems when trying to use a big hero image as a header container (since you were not able to drop a header separator inside any container, only in the main canvas). This block will provide you 2 separated layers with a header separator between them (#headback-top-box and #headback-bottom-box).
  • You can assign the same background image to both layers in Themes Generator. When exporting to WordPress, they will automatically work as a single image background that will fit the container.
  • Please, notice that you should not change the 2 layers ID names. Their names must stay default as #headback-top-box and #headback-bottom-box.
  • Please, notice that after installing a theme using this block in WordPress, you will find two different background settings under customizer. The secondary one is the one used by the container.
• New theme launched: Fitness.
  • New premium theme available. An animated theme with red, black and grey colors. Good for sport WordPress sites.
• Corporate theme updated.
  • We have updated the theme main background. It is using the new Header & Background block now.
• Themes separators updated.
  • We have updated all the themes footer & header separators to match the current block style.
• Body background bug fixed.
  • We have fixed the problem of additional wrapper and body backgrounds after saving and loading a theme.

16-03-2019:

• Header & Background block updated.
  • Now you will only be able to drop this block into the main canvas. This will avoid some users using it in wrong locations.
• WordPress export speed.
  • We have dramatically improved the performance and speed when exporting a WordPress theme.
• Blocks updated.
  • We have fixed small bugs in some blocks and changed the premium and free blocks distribution.
• Header sample blocks negative margin.
  • We have decreased the menu container vertical negative margin in tablet and mobile. It will be easier to understand now, as it will not totally cover the logo.
• Footer sample 2 bug in Firefox fixed.
• Removed wrong tooltips when mouse hovering the extra blocks.

01-04-2019:

• Image gallery improved.
  • Search images by name.
  • Progress bar that shows the total size (and percentage) of the gallery.
• Pixabay API support.
  • Search more than 1 million of royalty free stock images thanks to Pixabay API. Available for premium users only.
• New section separator block.
  • Use this block to separate main sections in your site. You can use color 1 & color 2 settings to add solid or transparent colors to the separator. You do not need to enter separate settings per device for this block. The width of this block will fit the parent.

09-04-2019:

• Tracking code (custom javascript) option added to themes customizer.

• Documentation updated.
  • We have reviewed and updated Themes Generator documentation.
• Extra footer.
  • Now you can create & design as many theme footers as you want.
• Html links in text fields allowed.
  • We have updated the WordPress customizer text validator. It accepts link tags now (a href…).
• Show/hide title & metadata settings in posts and pages.
  • We have added extra settings in WordPress backend that will allow you to show/hide the post & pages titles and date/author meta tags.

27-08-2019:

• New main options.
  • We have added new options under Customizer > Main options. Now you can set up the pages & posts title color, title font size, title font family & title font weight.
• Post and pages new option.
  • We have added a custom setting to show or hide the post/page titles in the control panel.
• Option “see all” for text blocks.
  • Based in users feedback, we have created a “See all” option where you can see/modify all the text blocks together.
• Comments bug fixed.
  • We have fixed a bug in the comment posting that was affecting some WordPress versions.
• Span tag allowed in text blocks.
  • Based in users feedback, we have coded the option to add “span” tags in the WordPress text blocks customizer. This will allow you to assign any class (CSS style) to individual texts.
• Extra page templates.
  • Now you can create & design as many internal pages as you want.

08-10-2019:

• Vertical orientation menu settings.
  • You can change menus to vertical orientation with this new setting.
• Edit main header text in customizer.
  • Now you can edit any header text too using WordPress customizer.
• Edit links hrefs in customizer.
  • Now you can edit/modify all the links previously created using WordPress customizer.
• Bug fix: recommended plugins.
  • Activate, update and install recommended plugins section was showing “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page” in some cases. We have fixed it.
• Bug fix: credits warning.
  • Fixed credits warning bug when selecting a page template as homepage.
• Update themes:
  • Now it’s easier to upgrade your theme without losing the customizer settings. The plugin “Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades” has been added to recommended plugins wizard.  Just install & activate it, then use always the same filename in the themename.zip exported file.
